Adopt an Actor

Choose an actor from our 2023 cast and “adopt” them for part of the festival during our Adopt an Actor fundraiser! Share the love by adopting more than one, or adopt an actor for the entire run of the festival with a gift of $1000.

When you Adopt an Actor, your donation helps the Freewill Shakespeare Festival cover the costs of hiring actors, making their costumes, or building the props they will use in our productions this year. The donation will not be given directly to the Actor.

Casino (Instagam post).png

The Freewill Shakespeare Festival is looking for volunteers for our upcoming CASINO!!!

Now that the world is no longer shut down, the Freewill Shakespeare Festival has finally been granted an all important casino on Sunday and Monday, July 30th and 31st at Century Casino (13103 Fort Road). We could use some excellent volunteers to complete our casino crew. If you can help out the festival by volunteering at the casino, that would be wonderful! Please contact us at:

The Free Will Players Theatre Guild are committed to making theatre arts accessible and affordable for everyone, regardless of age, ability, education, or income levels. We use donations to help pay our actors, designers, tech crew, and so much more! Donate today to support the future of our festival.

Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when we call for festival volunteers. Sign-ups will open in June/July for the 2023 season.

If you are interested in sponsoring the Freewill Shakespeare Festival, we would love to have you! Please reach out to Chantelle at for more information about available sponsorship packages.
