Dear Friends,

As many of you know, we are navigating through strange and uncertain times.

It is with a heavy heart we inform you that the Freewill Shakespeare Festival 2020 has been rescheduled. Many discussions were had with granting bodies and the City of Edmonton, and many hours were spent reviewing the guidelines sent by both the provincial and federal government. We have thought long and hard about this decision, and we feel that with the current information before us it is the best decision for the safety of our crew, cast, volunteers, and patrons.

We will be presenting Macbeth and Much Ado About Nothing in Hawrelak Park from June 15 to July 11, 2021 and we hope to see you there. We aren't sure when tickets will be on sale but we hope before Christmas.

On April 23, Shakespeare's birthday, we will have some more news regarding our staff, summer activities, and our Festival in 2021, designed to keep Shakespeare in the Park in everyone's minds until we can all meet again under the open sky. Because of your ongoing support and good wishes, you will be the first to know. Follow us and read about us online to keep up to date.

Until then,

"Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow…" - Macbeth (5.5.19)
